Refund policy
When a payment made for Testaweb — the trial or the annual subscription — can be refunded, and how to request it.
1. Who refunds, and what this policy covers
1.1 The service sold on https://www.testaweb.com is provided by WEB EDITIONS II, . Billing questions are handled by Testaweb.com at [email protected].
1.2 This policy covers the 48-hour trial at €1,90 and the annual subscription that follows it (Essentiel, Sérénité and Famille plans). It supplements the General Terms and Conditions and the Subscription Terms, and does not limit any right the consumer holds under law.
2. The principle
2.1 Once payment is confirmed, your draft will is formatted, saved to your space, and its fingerprint is submitted to the blockchain. This recording is final and cannot be cancelled. The trial amount pays for this work, which is delivered without delay; it is therefore, as a general rule, non-refundable.
2.2 What is refundable is what has not been delivered or what was charged in error: the unused portion of an annual subscription that you cancel within the statutory period, a billing error, and the cases listed in Article 5.
2.3 The questionnaire may be reviewed before any payment, and the draft will may be re-read before validation, so that you know what you are buying.
2.4 A refund can never be granted on the ground that a will has been found invalid, reduced or challenged: Testaweb prepares a text that you must copy out, date and sign by hand, and does not guarantee the validity of a will.
3. Right of withdrawal — consumers in the European Union and the EEA
3.1 The consumer has fourteen (14) days from the order to withdraw, without having to give reasons (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation)).
3.2 The trial: by placing your order, you expressly request that your draft will be produced and timestamped immediately, and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal for that content once it has been delivered (Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code). Should the document, by exception, not have been produced, the trial amount is refunded in full.
3.3 The annual subscription: if it was charged at the end of the trial and you withdraw within fourteen (14) days of the order, the annual amount is refunded, less an amount proportional to the period elapsed between that charge and your withdrawal (Article L221-25 of the French Consumer Code).
3.4 To withdraw, write to [email protected] from the email address on the account, within the time limit. No particular form is required; an unambiguous statement is sufficient.
3.5 A contract concluded for professional purposes does not benefit from the right of withdrawal.
4. Cancelling is not the same as getting a refund
4.1 The subscription may be cancelled at any time from your space. Cancellation stops the next renewal; it does not refund the current period, and access continues until the end of that period.
4.2 Cancelling during the 48-hour trial prevents the annual subscription from being charged, at no cost. The €1,90 trial amount remains due, as the service was delivered without delay.
4.3 An annual renewal charged when the prior notice required by Article L215-1 of the French Consumer Code was not sent to you may be cancelled at any time from its renewal date; the unused portion of the period is then refunded to you.
5. Cases in which a refund is granted
5.1 Apart from the right of withdrawal, Testaweb refunds:
- a double charge or any other technical billing error;
- a charge made after a cancellation that was validly recorded;
- an unauthorized transaction, made without the consent of the card holder;
- a payment collected when the draft will could never be produced because of the service;
- a charge made after receipt and verification of a closure request sent by the relatives of a deceased subscriber;
- an interruption attributable to Testaweb that makes the service unusable for more than seventy-two (72) consecutive hours, refunded pro rata for the period concerned.
5.2 A refund may also be granted as a commercial gesture where circumstances justify it. Granting one on a given occasion creates no right to obtain another.
6. What is not refunded
- the trial amount once the draft will has been produced, outside the cases in Article 5;
- a subscription period that has begun, once the withdrawal period has expired;
- a will found invalid, reduced or challenged, in particular for not having been copied out, dated and signed by hand by its author, or because of the content of the wishes expressed;
- the time taken to confirm a timestamp on the blockchain, which does not depend on Testaweb;
- an error in the information entered by the user;
- a failure caused by a third party — the user's network, browser or device;
- an account closed for fraud or serious breach of the General Terms and Conditions.
7. How to request a refund
7.1 Write to [email protected] from the email address on the account, stating the date and amount of the charge and the subject of your request. A request that cannot be matched to an account and a transaction cannot be processed.
7.2 Each request receives an acknowledgement of receipt within five (5) business days and a reasoned response within ten (10) business days.
8. Processing of the refund
8.1 An accepted refund is made to the payment method used for the original transaction, no later than fourteen (14) days after acceptance or, in the case of withdrawal, after receipt of the request. The time it takes to appear on your statement then depends on your bank.
8.2 A refund on a subscription ends the subscription for the period concerned. It does not delete your account or your documents, which remain viewable and downloadable; they are deleted only upon your request.
9. Disputing a charge with your bank
9.1 Writing to [email protected] is faster than a bank dispute and resolves most situations within a few days.
9.2 A dispute concerning a service that was actually delivered, raised without a prior refund request, will be contested with the bank using the order details and the account log. Those records never include the content of the will.
9.3 This does not deprive the card holder of the right to dispute a transaction they did not authorize, which is refunded in accordance with Article 5.
10. Contact and complaints

10.2 If a complaint remains unresolved, the consumer may, free of charge, refer the matter to a consumer mediator (médiateur de la consommation) or to the European Online Dispute Resolution platform.
